Her eyes widened a little, a little surprised by Ron. But he was right. She nodded and blew her nose one more time before steeling her jaw. Yes. She could get through this. No problem. She sighed heavily.
"Thank you, Ron. You're right. I suppose the worst part is feeling so helpless. There's nothing I can do."
She opened the door all the way and stepped back so he could come in if he wanted.
"But there really is a possibility that he won't come back. And I'll have to deal with that. I can't sit around waiting for forever."
Another sigh as she moved in front of the mirror and attempted to make it look at least a little bit like she hadn't been crying. She turned back to Ron.
