[Lily's set herself up in the library in her house. There's a cauldron in front of her, a small flame flickering beneath it. She stirs the pot three times clockwise, and then four counterclockwise.]

Hello, Vatheon. There are quite a few new people floating about again, so I thought this was a perfect time to post. I'm Lily. As you can see I've been doing a bit of potion brewing. I finally made it down to the Nostalgia Nook, and the shop from my world is absolutely brilliant.

[She pauses to check her potions book and adds an ingredient, tapping the cauldron twice with her wand. Potions is very complicated and delicate.]

I stocked up on ingredients, so after I brewed a few potions for friends of mine, I thought I'd brew a few other useful ones. First of all a big batch of Pepper-Up. [She gestures to the cauldron.] That'll be a cure for the common cold. And hangovers. So if anyone's feeling a bit under the weather, let me know.

That said, [She turns the heat under the cauldron down.] Equius. Sollux. I'm ready when you are.

Precisely. I'm a witch, you see.

A witch? Like with...a broom and a pointy hat and everything?

And a cauldron and a wand and the ability to turn people into frogs, yes!

[He pauses and leans in just a little toward the screen.]

Oh, good, it's hard to tell sometimes!

Well, to be fair, I hardly think a dark witch would come right out and tell you that she was into the dark arts.

Mmmm, I don't think it's really been that long but sometimes it feels like a really long time.

Like when Blood wasn't here yet, it felt like I was here forever! I think maybe it'd be easier if Alice came too, but I don't think it works that way.

I understand what you mean. I both feel as though I've just arrived and that I've been here for forever. Alice is a friend of yours?

Yeah, she's a lot of fun to be around. I don't think Blood likes her very much, even if he says that she's not boring enough to kill. The last time we were all together he didn't really seem too happy...

And...Blood is a friend of yours as well?

Kind of. He's more like my boss, but we're really close!

...I see. What sort of a name is "Blood"?

[He shrugged just a little.]

I don't really know, it's just a name I suppose. It's not his whole name, though.

Blood Dupre, that's his whole name.
